Novelette is a first generation American. Her mom is from Jamaica and her dad grew up in St. Thomas. Novie, as her loved ones call her, grew up in Neptune, New Jersey, just five minutes from the beach. She went to a performing arts high school where she enjoyed theater, running hurdles, and performing at the head of her class in academics. She graduated with a 3.9 GPA!
This East Coast girl married her college sweetheart, and together they have grown into a family of eight. Her kids attend MISD, and their family worships at Stonegate Church.
Novelette loves to dance her way through life – from the outdoors to soccer + tennis, to learning Spanish and professional acting and voice overs – she is one unique woman. In case you recognize her face from the multi-season TV show, The Chosen, it’s because she was featured as a background actress!
